Candle Care & Our Signature Wax

What is a "Wax Blend" and why do we use it? We use a premium-quality Soy-Paraffin blend. We love the renewable, clean-burning qualities of natural soy, but we found that 100% soy simply couldn't hold enough fragrance to fill a room. By blending it with a touch of paraffin, we’ve created the "Harmony Blend." This gives you the best of both worlds: a natural, plant-based base that offers an incredible "hot throw" (the strength of the scent while burning) and a much longer burn time without excess soot.

The Secret to a Perfect Burn: Trim Your Wicks Trimming your wick isn’t just a suggestion—it’s the secret to making your candle last twice as long!

• Why it matters: When a wick gets too long, it can't draw the wax up to the flame properly. Instead of burning the wax (the fuel), the flame starts burning the wick itself. This causes that icky black soot and makes your candle disappear much faster.

• How to do it: Trim your wick to 1/4 inch every single time before you light it.

• What to use: You can use scissors or nail clippers, but for the cleanest cut, we recommend a Candle Wick Trimmer (available in our Accessories section!).

Pro-Tip for Power Burners: If you love keeping your candle lit all day, please extinguish it every 2-3 hours, let it cool for a moment, trim the wick, and relight. This small step ensures a clean, safe, and fragrant burn from the first light to the very bottom of the jar.
